Founder, Non-Dieting Health

Alison is the founder of the Non-Dieting Health Therapy Center, a licensed psychotherapist, neurofeedback practitioner, CEDS (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist), HeartMath Certified Practitioner, and advocate for body-positive living. Her outpatient center offers psychotherapy, neurofeedback brainwave training, dietary counseling, and social support to teens and adults struggling with disordered eating. Alison sees disordered eating patterns as predictable responses to being exposed to a highly-rewarding food environment and cultural pressure to control one's weight and appetite. When internalized, this conflict can lock people into reactionary mindsets about food and their bodies, which can impede their ability to regulate emotions, thought patterns, appetite and eating behavior. Alison helps clients shift from shame-based dieting mindsets into body respect, nutritional self-care, and resilience to weight stigma. Alison is the author of Non-Dieting: How to Love Your Body and Be Healthy in Diet Culture.

Meredith Cashman, ASW
Registered Associate ASW #98442

Hi there! I’m Meredith and I’m an Associate Social Worker working under the supervision of Alison Ross, LMFT. I work individually with both children and adults via telehealth and in-person. I believe in integrating the mind and body to help shift trauma and maladaptive patterns like disordered eating. I am passionate about bringing mindfulness and self-compassion into the therapeutic space, and I encourage my clients to access their own healing by practicing curiosity and non-judgment of their experiences in the present moment. I’m especially interested in helping clients navigate difficult transitions like divorce and becoming a parent. Prior to joining Non-Dieting Health, I worked in community-based therapeutic services at Camarillo Hospice and Cancer Support Community. I am a big advocate of self-care and some of my personal favorites include curling up with a good book, spending time at the beach, and singing in my car.
Anna Lei Sidorchuk, AMFT
Associate MFT Lic. #117707
Hi, my name is Anna Lei Sidorchuk, and I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working under the supervision of Alison Ross, LMFT. I specialize in healing childhood trauma, that is usually at the root of many mental health and eating disorders regardless of age. I approach therapy through the holistic and integrative lens that is trauma informed, compassionate and humanistic. Using evidence based modality CBT to address the thought process, DBT to support in building emotion regulation skills, Depth Psychology and Transpersonal Psychology to work with the psyche, energy healing through Reiki and Theta Healing, and mindfulness, Somatic Psychotherapy and CRM (Comprehensive Resource Model) to support safety and regulation in the body, I integrate modalities to suit the unique needs of each client. I work with individuals, teens, couples, families and the LGBTQ+ community to heal mood disorders, anxiety, codependency, disordered eating, psychosomatic issues, life changes, and disconnection from joy and purpose. I am currently in the process of getting Sex and Relationship Therapy Certified.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I have been an energy healer and a transformational coach for 13 years, supporting people in accessing their true essence and finding their purpose. I have a lifelong passion for learning and you can usually find me with a book. I’m actually writing a book myself and hope to become a published author one day. I look forward to learning about you and supporting your healing journey. |
