In diet culture, no one ever tells you that body changes and, even weight gain, are normal parts of life. So, it leaves it open for us to feel like we've failed or are doing something wrong when these normal body shifts happen.
But I'm here to remind you that the nature of a body is change. And if your body is shifting, it is an option for you to give yourself the space and kindness to adjust to those changes instead of beating yourself up.
Please know that body changes happen to everyone. They're normal.
