We help you find eating balance and body confidence.
AT NON-DIETING HEALTH
We understand where you’re coming from, some of us have been there too. It’s those past experiences that have shaped founder and owner Alison Ross, to create a method that works beyond talk therapy alone and is considered a more effective type of eating therapy.
Our method combines psychotherapy with neurofeedback brainwave training and bioregulation therapy to foster a healthy eating mindset and body image while unlocking your brain's stress response. Together these therapies can restore your natural ability to regulate your eating and grow your confidence – not just for today, but for every day after that.
WE’RE GOING TO HELP YOU SHIFT
From feeling unworthy → to a sense of worth.
From feeling out of control with food → to developing a healthy, easy relationship with food.
From feeling that one’s body is flawed → to appreciating one’s unique beauty and worth.
From feeling stressed → to being calm.
From hustling for a better body → to appreciating one’s self.
From fitting in → to true belonging.
From self-aversion → to self-confidence.
Our Therapists believe
You can achieve a drama, stress and shame-free relationship with food.
When you heal from the stress of believing that your body and appetite are wrong, something amazing happens – you become naturally inclined towards behaviors that support health.
Connection to hunger, fullness, and appetite cues can become your guide to self-nourishment, not self-sabotage.
Body confidence has little to do with how your body is, and everything to do with embracing the person you are.
Be yourself. Love Your Body. Love Your Live

Alison Ross. LMFT, CEDS
She/Her
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” - Anais Nin Alison is the founder of Non-Dieting Health, a licensed psychotherapist and certified eating disorder specialist. She is also a neurofeedback and bioregulation practitioner, and an advocate for body-positive living. Her outpatient center offers therapeutic services to teens and adults struggling with disordered eating and body image. Alison sees disordered eating patterns as predictable responses to being exposed to a highly-rewarding food environment and cultural pressure to control one's weight and appetite. When internalized, this conflict can lock people into reactionary mindsets about food and their bodies, which can impede their ability to regulate emotions, thought patterns, appetite and eating behavior. Alison helps clients shift from shame-based dieting mindsets into body respect, nutritional self-care, and resilience to weight stigma. Alison is the author of Non-Dieting: How to Love Your Body and Be Healthy in Diet Culture.
