By Alison Ross, LMFT, CEDS, Foreword by Carolyn Costin, MEd., LMFT

Why try to recover from disordered eating on your own when you can receive guidance on the path to being fully recovered …
I assure you, it’s possible.
And, you are worth it.
From years of experience I’ve built a method to break free of eating and body image struggles.
  • Is your relationship with food and your body a source of pain?

  • Do you feel stuck in cycles of restricting food and overeating, or other disordered eating patterns?

  • Is your sense of worth tied to the scale?

  • Do you wonder and obsessively worry about how your body looks?

  • Are you experiencing health problems related to the stressful dieting lifestyle?

  • Are you tired of living this way?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this book is for you.
Embark on a journey to discover the best in you.
Certified eating disorder specialist (CEDS), Alison Ross, begins by explaining how diet culture norms and ideals can disrupt a healthy relationship with food and our bodies. She then delves into the science of why diets don't work, and how they actually lead to disordered eating patterns, more intense body image and weight struggles, and health problems. She offers advice on how to break free from the diet mentality and provides tools and resources for further support. Ross concludes by offering hope and encouragement for those struggling with their relationship with food and their bodies, affirming that recovery is possible.
“Thank you Alison for such a fantastic resource!” - Kris
