A broken bone is a great reminder...

Writer's picture: Alison Ross, LMFT, CEDSAlison Ross, LMFT, CEDS

This broken bone in my hand is such a good reminder to love our bodies - every part of them.

I broke a bone in my hand while playing volleyball - the one right below my left, pinky finger. Sometimes it's not until you break it that you realize just how much work every part of your amazing body does to serve you each day, except maybe your useless adenoids. :)

So, if you find yourself dissing your body - maybe take a moment to acknowledge how incredible it is - all the way down to your non-dominant pinky finger.
